Question to blogfriends..

Hey you guys.. Do you remember the old blogger, that it was easy and fast and everything was logical? You wanted to follow a blog? There you had it, easy! You wanted to leave a comment, there you had it, without a gazillion numbers to type that made you dizzy! The old days, you could manage easily the blogs you followed, now there is only a sad little add button. The thing is that this way there are many blogs that are n't active anymore and since there is n't a follow button on their sites i am stuck with them. That wwould n't be a problem if i have n't already reached the maximum amount of blogs to follow(300). Do any of you know if there is still a way with the new blogger to manage your blogs???
Hugs and kisses!

hi strange you should mention this, but I am doing the very same thing right now! getting rid of old blogs and making way for new ones... ok blogger dont make it easy! lol

go to your dashboard, then look to the right of the screen - just right of where it says reading list... there next to where it says google reader press the circle button. this will take you to your list of blogs that you read. there, go to the blog you want to get rid of and press the settings button next to it and then that will take you to the screen where it says dont follow this blog anymore. there press that and then 'done' and you are done, the screen will then go back to the lists of blogs and refresh itself - so dont attempt to press it, and then when it comes back the blog u dont want will have gone.phew... not easy is it? delete mine.... its called soul journeys, and I no longer blog there! cheers! and good luck with blogger!

sorry that was a v long winded explanation, but the new blogger makes it quite complicated doesnt it?!

There should be a button on the right above your new posts list. It gets you to a list of allthe blogs you are following, and there you can unfollow each blog. It is a little complicated, but works.

When I hit the settings button that people are talking about, I just get a message that my Friends Connect data can't be loaded. So I can't get at the list to delete anything either. It's very frustrating and I'd love to know how to get around this problem too!

Hi there, I am a new follower of your blog. I saw you comment on Tiptoe's blog, and I am Greek, too. I think a lot of people put the word verifications up, because they get a lot of spam comments. In the old days you talk about, spammers hadn't hit up the blogosphere yet. Be Blessed.

Good Morning! I don't care for the "new" blogger either. It seems like everything that you need to do you have to spend hours doing something that use to be so very simple to do. I guess this way they keep you logged into their site and makes them look good. So sorry I can't help you. I have been trying to delete an old blog and as of now, still can't. Very frustrating indeed. Hope that you get some good help here. I am sure that you will.

Using another browzer like Google Chrome made no difference but thanks for the suggestion. However, I've found a blog post that does say how we can now delete blogs we're following from Friend Connect -- it's a slow and circuitous method but it DOES work, I've now tried it. Here's the link to the explanation:
