Blogtherapy..

Today was a difficult day. Actually i have n't had such a bad day for a long time. When you hear harsh words from family, especially undeservingly, they resonate with you in ways that you can't avoid getting hurt. I  have to figure out a way to not entangle with other people's  psychological disorders.
I sympathise with people that suffer from clinical depression. But when they are family members they can be very toxic. The things they say because they feel unwanted even when you are trying to help them really sting. I know i can not take them personally but i can't help it. I am a very emotional person and i can nor turn it off.
Thank you for your support and forgive my vent!
Be blessed!

Believe in yourself and in the truth of who you are, not in the misperceptions of others. Hugs, my dear.

I can relate, I am a very emotional person as well, and one thing can just set me off for days. And when it's family it stings even harder. There is something about you though, you are strong and very sweet, that's a great combination to have! If you need anything, know that I'm here for you... take care,
{{{hugs}}}

Oh, the challenges of those who feel deeply ... it is a gift - most often - but also a double-edged sword. Blessings!

It's so hard. They are in pain so they lash out and cause others pain. Family is difficult as there is always so much baggage. Sending you love and light and try to shield yourself. It unfortunately it's our ability to feel that makes us who we are it's a two edge sword. Xxx

It's a terrible thing to endure when a family member makes your life a living hell. I know your pain. My mother is very abusive to us ( her kids). Her abuse (verbal, mental, and physical) made me a basket case for many years. It caused me to over eat and become very shy because I was so insecure. Now that I am away from that abuse, I am slowly changing into a butterfly. My husband has noticed the change too. He was also witness to my mother's evil.

I hope you can overcome and rise above that pain you are suffering. Things do get better. You don't have to take it.
